Plot: The story revolves around Carl Nargle, Vermont's self-proclaimed #1 public television painter. Carl has it all figured out, at least in his own mind: a signature hairstyle, a custom van, and a devoted fanbase who hang on his every artistic stroke. However, his world is turned upside down when a younger, more talented artist named Lucy (played by Ciara Renée) arrives on the scene and steals the spotlight. Carl's career and personal life begin to crumble as he grapples with his fading fame and the threat of being replaced.
Cast: Owen Wilson takes the lead role as Carl Nargle. Michaela Watkins, Ciara Renée, Stephen Root, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Lucy Freyer, Lusia Strus, and Michael Pemberton round out the cast.

Release: "Paint" was released in the United States on April 7, 2023, by IFC Films. It was later released digitally on May 9, 2023, with a Blu-ray and DVD release following on July 25, 2023.
