Water And Garri (2024)
"Water and Garri" is a 2024 Nollywood movie that tells the story of Aisha, a young woman who returns home from the UK to her hometown in Nigeria after spending 10 years in the US becoming a successful entrepreneur. The movie explores her journey as she navigates the tensions and challenges that arise after spending time away from her family and friends, leading her down a path of love, loss, and new discoveries .
The film is directed and edited by Meji Alabi and produced by Everything Savage and Unbound Studios. It stars Tiwa Savage in the lead role, along with Andrew Yaw Bunting, Jemima Osunde, and Mike Afolarin
"Water and Garri" is set to debut on Prime Video in 2024, with a global release on May 10, 2024. Prime Video will exclusively launch the movie in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The film is a co-production between Everything Savage, Unbound Studios, and JM Films. It is written by Comfort Emmanuel, with music by Tiwa Savage. The executive producers of the movie are Tiwa Savage, Vannessa Amadi-Ogbonna, Jimi Adesanya, and Meji Alabi
