Gloria Movie (1999)
The movie "Gloria" is a 1999 American neo-noir crime thriller film directed by Sidney Lumet. It is a remake of John Cassavetes' 1980 film of the same name. The film stars Sharon Stone in the title role, along with Jeremy Northam, Cathy Moriarty, Jean-Luke Figueroa, Mike Starr, and George C. Scott.
The story revolves around Gloria, who, after serving three years in prison covering for her gangster boyfriend, Kevin, returns to New York City for the money she was promised. Inside Kevin's base of operations, she finds 7-year-old Nicky, whose family has been killed. Nicky is hanging onto a computer disk that incriminates the gang. When Kevin refuses to pay Gloria, she steals Nicky and the evidence, leading to a series of events where they find themselves running for their lives and forming a bond in the process.
