Plot Summary
The story follows Dre Parker, a 12-year-old boy who moves from Detroit to China due to his mother's job. Struggling to adapt to his new environment, Dre quickly finds himself the target of a local bully. In his quest for self-defence, he encounters Mr. Han, a maintenance man who is secretly a kung fu master. Mr. Han teaches Dre that kung fu is about not just fighting but also personal growth, discipline, and respect. As Dre trains under Mr. Han's guidance, he learns valuable life lessons and prepares to face his bullies in a kung fu tournament.
